High-energy bucket drumming sessions that break the routine, build real connection and get everyone, from Year 3 to the exec team, playing as one. No experience needed. Melbourne & surrounds.
Every session is built around the same idea, put sticks in people's hands and a beat comes out of nowhere, tailored to who's in the room.
An incursion that turns a class or whole-school assembly into one big rhythm section, no instruments or musical background required.
Get a room full of colleagues out of their inboxes and into a shared beat. A genuinely different offsite or team day activity.
A drop-in or scheduled drumming activation for parties, community days and festivals, high energy, all ages, easy to run alongside other activities.
Group size, ages, the vibe you're after and where you're based.
Length, format and energy level built around your goals, teamwork, wellbeing, or just a great time.
Buckets, sticks, sound and the energy to run it. You just show up.
Not just entertained, actually connected, and talking about it after.
A room drumming together has to listen, sync and adjust to one another, teamwork you feel in your hands, not a slide about it.
Rhythm is physical. Sessions leave people more energised and present than they walked in, a genuine break from the daily grind.
No slides, no seats, no "let's go around the room." Just noise, laughter and a beat that everyone made together.
I'm a professional drummer, percussionist and producer with over 30 years behind the kit, and drumming has taken me around the world on tour. These days my favourite place to play is a room full of people who think they have no rhythm, right up until the whole group locks into one beat.
I adapted bucket drumming from the idea made famous by STOMP in New York, and I've been running sessions for 15 years, as one of the first in Melbourne to do it. From classrooms to boardrooms, no musical experience is needed. I bring the buckets, the sticks and the beat.
Alongside the drumming, I study psychology and research how music can connect people and ease stress and anxiety. That thinking shapes every session, so your group leaves with more than a great time: simple rhythm-based tools for resetting, focusing and calming down when things get busy.
"Ronen had great energy which transferred to the children, and he captured all their attention and focus. He started with a game to teach the children how to drum, then through storytelling, the children helped make up a storyline and drummed along to a beat together."
"The teamwork activity was fantastic. The ice-breaker had everyone laughing and talking within minutes, and by the end the whole room was playing as one. People loved feeling creative, and you could see the difference it made to everyone's mood and wellbeing."
"It was such a fresh change from the office. No one needed any musical experience, everyone got involved straight away, and Ronen made it easy and fun. People were still talking about it around the office a week later."
Every enquiry gets a real reply from the person who'll actually run your session, not a call centre.
